About the role
As an Area Sales Manager at Cropster, your goal is to develop meaningful client relationships and drive sales across all Cropster product lines, including Cropster Cafe. You will actively connect with cafes, roasteries, and wholesale businesses across different regions, identifying opportunities and guiding customers toward solutions that meet their needs. This role involves proactive engagement through outreach efforts, thoughtful relationship-building, and strategic planning to turn prospects into long-term partners. Your mission is to inspire customers, understand their challenges, and ensure they receive the best support from Cropster.
Our offices are in Innsbruck and Vienna, and we are open to discuss remote employment within Europe.
What you’ll do
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Design and execute effective sales strategies that support revenue growth and strengthen market presence in your designated area.
- Engage in Outreach and Market Research: Research potential customers, decision-makers, and key industry players. Conduct outreach through personalized communication, industry events, and client visits to generate and nurture new leads.
- Lead Generation and Activation: Work collaboratively with the commercial team to identify and activate potential customers, with a focus on high-value key accounts. Understand their needs, negotiate agreements, and guide them through onboarding.
- Foster Client Relationships: Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they recognize the full value of Cropster’s products and services.
- Utilize CRM Tools for Organization and Growth: Manage sales pipelines using CRM software like Hubspot, ensuring consistency in follow-ups and a smooth customer journey from initial contact to order completion.
- Represent Cropster in the Industry: Advocate for Cropster at industry events, workshops, and through direct client interactions, promoting our solutions and enhancing brand visibility.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Marketing, Account Managers, and Product Management teams to align strategies, incorporate customer insights, and refine sales processes.
- Analyze and Report Sales Performance: Provide regular forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management to support informed business decisions.
We are looking for someone with
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in sales, preferably in B2B software or the specialty coffee industry.
- A deep understanding of the specialty coffee market and its unique dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and build trust.
- A proactive and goal-oriented mindset, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple sales opportunities.
- Fluency in English, with additional European language skills as a plus.
That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with
- Experience using CRM tools and sales software, particularly Hubspot.
- Previous experience in a remote or flexible work environment.
- Passion for specialty coffee and an understanding of coffee roasting processes.
- Experience in coffee wholesale, espresso machine service, or coffee education.

The salary range for this position is € 49K to € 57K gross/year and we look at factors like your experience and individual qualifications to determine our offer.
