Caf\u00e9 Managers are the on-site leaders responsible for daily operations, team performance and accountability, and the overall guest experience within a single location.<\/p>\n
This role ensures the caf\u00e9 operates with consistency across product quality, customer connection, and visual presentation. You lead the team on the floor, maintain operational flow, and support financial performance through disciplined execution. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and a hands-on approach to service and culture.<\/p>\n
Caf\u00e9 Managers are essential in translating the company\u2019s standards into daily execution with the support of the Operations Managers.<\/p>\n

The Cafe Manager is the leader of the caf\u00e9 and is ultimately responsible for its overall success. Leading from the floor each day with consistency, intention, and care, they create the environment in which both the team and the business can thrive.<\/p>\n
Success in this role begins with maintaining a financially healthy caf\u00e9. Labor, cost of goods, and overall operational performance must consistently remain within budget, creating the strong foundation upon which every other priority is built. From that foundation, the Cafe Manager develops an engaged team, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and cultivates a culture that reflects The Boy & The Bear’s values and standards.<\/p>\n
Through calm leadership, fairness, and clear communication, the Cafe Manager establishes the tone for the entire store. They coach, support, and hold their team accountable while fostering an environment where people feel respected, challenged, and inspired to grow.<\/p>\n
Every detail of the caf\u00e9 from coffee quality and operational execution to hospitality and team culture falls under the Cafe Manager’s responsibility. When something is not aligned, they respond quickly and thoughtfully, ensuring that product quality, customer experience, financial performance, and culture consistently reflect our three pillars of success.<\/p>\n
