You\u2019ve been drinking months-old coffee, but Devoci\u00f3n is changing that. We source our beans directly from our network of independent coffee producers throughout Colombia, dry-mill them at our facility in Bogot\u00e1, and quickly send them to our roaster in New York v\u00eda FedEx. A few days later, the beans arrive in Brooklyn, to be freshly roasted and served as quickly as possible, going from origin to cup as fast as 10 days, light years quicker than the industry norm of 6-12 months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">About the Role: Wholesale Sales Manager<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Devocion is seeking a sales-driven relationship builder and specialty coffee expert to join our team and support our mission of sharing the freshest and highest-quality coffee with our clients.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of coffee sales experience and be warm, professional, and passionate while driving new sales growth. You will attract, manage, and grow wholesale partner accounts through building collaborative relationships, providing exceptional hospitality and service, and communicating company value and product knowledge, in conjunction with the Service and Education teams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Devoci\u00f3n core values, coffee products and equipment, and pricing structure<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Help set strategy while identifying and analyzing target markets and clients for new growth and expansion<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Execute promotional and incentive programs to support sales growth and increase order volume, in coherence with the marketing strategy<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Manage and grow our wholesale client base by building and maintaining strong relationships with current clients and proactively identifying new target opportunities<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Make outbound sales outreach, leveraging existing relationships and building new ones through networking, events, referrals, and targeted sales efforts, focusing on corporate offices, distributors, restaurants, hotels, and cafes<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Communicate company mission and effectively speak to coffee products and equipment, including differences in processing, roast profiles, origins, etc.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Maintain weekly pipeline of new sales activities and meet (and exceed) monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Conduct coffee tastings and sales presentations, and coordinate onsite events for prospective and existing clients<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Manage client accounts to drive success, including timely troubleshooting, client visits, technician service coordination, trainings, and distribution of marketing materials<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Maintain up to date, organized client files and account records on a daily basis, including CRM maintenance<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Regular daily and weekly travel around NYC to visit current clients and potential \u2022 Key Skills and Qualifications<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">5+ years of sales and specialty coffee experience. Must be passionate about coffee; knowledge of coffee equipment is a major asset<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Must be a self-starter committed to excellence and high standards and an ability to manage relationships<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to organize and present information clearly to clients, while handling high-pressure situations calmly and with a solution-oriented attitude<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Knowledge of sales systems and pipeline management<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Strong computer and administrative skills required<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Self-motivated, ability to multitask, and take initiative to complete tasks<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ideal candidate is a competitive, achievement-oriented extrovert with strong skills in negotiation and networking<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Understanding of Devoci\u00f3n\u2019s core values, sourcing practices, and production standards<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sustainability &amp; Environmental Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Report any process that may pose environmental risks related to water, energy, waste disposal, or chemical handling<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Properly sort waste and contribute to sustainability efforts<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Suggest ideas to improve sustainability through Devoci\u00f3n\u2019s internal channels<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Actively participate in company training and compliance initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Compensation &amp; benefits<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Salary: $70- $80K base salary + commission (based on experience)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Bonus Plan<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Paid Time Off (PTO)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">401(k) Plan with a 3% salary match annually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Diversity and Inclusion Declaration<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We stand for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
