We will be working closely with Ritual Coffee which means you\u2019ll receive second to none training from the get go!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Position Summary<br \/>\nOur Baristas are responsible for preparing exceptional coffee and espresso beverages while delivering thoughtful, welcoming hospitality. This role combines technical coffee skills with genuine customer service to create a memorable caf\u00e9 experience. Baristas maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness while actively contributing to a collaborative and positive caf\u00e9 environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Pay is $22 per hour + tips<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Hospitality &amp; Customer Experience<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Welcome guests warmly and create an inviting caf\u00e9 environment<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Engage customers with genuine hospitality and thoughtful service<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Guide guests through the menu and share knowledge about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Create a memorable experience that reflects the caf\u00e9\u2019s values and commitment to quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Coffee &amp; Beverage Preparation<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Prepare espresso beverages and brewed coffee with precision and consistency<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Dial in espresso throughout the shift to maintain optimal flavor and extraction<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Steam milk with proper texture and temperature for espresso drinks<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Follow recipes and standards for all beverages<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar during service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Coffee Knowledge &amp; Craft<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Develop a working knowledge of coffee origins, producers, processing methods, and seasonal offerings<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Taste and evaluate coffees to maintain quality standards<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Maintain brewing equipment and ensure accurate grind settings and recipes<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about coffee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Operational Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Maintain cleanliness of the caf\u00e9, workstations, and guest areas<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Restock coffee, milk, cups, retail items, and other supplies<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Equipment Care<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Follow daily and weekly cleaning procedures<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Team Collaboration<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain efficient service during busy periods<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Communicate clearly and support a positive team environment<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Contribute to a culture of respect, curiosity, and shared learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Passion for coffee and hospitality<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Willingness to learn and develop coffee skills<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Preferred Experience<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Previous specialty coffee or barista experience<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Experience dialing in espresso and preparing manual brew methods<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Familiarity with coffee tasting and flavor evaluation<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Experience with POS systems and cash handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Our commitment to you<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Extensive training with Ritual Coffee Roasters<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">A fun and inclusive working environment<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Respect for your time by producing schedules in advance<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Your opinions matter to us.
