This position combines account management, coffee expertise, barista skills, equipment knowledge, training, and events support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, comfortable working directly with customers, and able to confidently represent the company and its coffee programs in a variety of settings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Training &amp; Education<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Lead coffee training programs for foodservice and hospitality customers, distributor partners, and internal teams.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Train baristas and coffee-service staff on brewing techniques, espresso preparation, equipment calibration, and coffee quality.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Develop and deliver engaging product and coffee education presentations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Conduct on-site training and provide ongoing support to customers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable coffee educator<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Ensure brew specs are consistently adhered to internally and across customer in the local market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Account Management &amp; Customer Relationships<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Serve as a primary coffee quality resource and point of contact for assigned accounts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Support existing accounts through training, tastings, and quality control support.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Work closely with distributor partners and internal sales team on existing and new business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Conduct customer visits, lead coffee training, and education sessions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate coffee, equipment, and service solutions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Support quality control and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Coffee Events &amp; Demonstrations<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Plan and lead company coffee events in conjunction with marketing and sales, tastings, demonstrations, and customer activations including partnership events with The Chicago Cubs (MLB), and Los Angeles Rams (NFL).<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Host coffee cuppings and product tastings for customers and prospects.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Represent the company at trade shows, distributor events, customer events, and industry functions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Coordinate coffee samples, equipment, products, and supplies needed for events and presentations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Create engaging customer experiences that showcase the quality and versatility of the company&#8217;s coffee portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Strong passion for hospitality, coffee and the coffee industry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Previous barista experience.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing, espresso, and extraction.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Ability to conduct coffee cuppings, tastings, and product evaluations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot coffee equipment.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Excellent communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Comfortable and confident in customer-facing situations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Ability to lead and coordinate coffee training, tastings, and events.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Strong organizational and time-management skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Professional, personable, and service-oriented approach.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, operations, and distributor teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Ideal Candidate<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The ideal candidate is a coffee professional who can train, educate, build relationships, and sell. They should be equally comfortable pulling espresso shots behind a bar, calibrating equipment, conducting a coffee tasting, presenting to a group of customers, or working with a distributor partner to develop new business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Core Competencies<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Coffee &amp; Product Knowledge<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Barista Skills<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Equipment Calibration<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Customer Relationship Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Education and\/or Experience:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Bachelor\u2019s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of coffee, caf\u00e9 and customer service experience.
