This position announcement is for a member of our specialty sales and quality control team, working with new and existing clients to grow the sales of our specialty coffee portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the coffee trade and will possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. <\/p>\n
Primary Job responsibilities include
\n\u25cf Coffee Sales;
\n\u25cf Client Management;
\n\u25cf Business Development;
\n\u25cf Maintaining professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies;
\n\u25cf Coffee tasting and quality control;
\n\u25cf Cupping lab setup\/cleanup;
\n\u25cf Green coffee sample roasting,
\n\u25cf Preparation of coffee samples to be sent to customers,
\n\u25cf Specialty coffee roast profiling;<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications Include
\n\u25cf Exceptional written and verbal communications skills;
\n\u25cf Experience in a customer-facing role;
\n\u25cf Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to easily develop relationships;
\n\u25cf Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively;
\n\u25cf Strong attention to detail; and
\n\u25cf Strong addiction to coffee.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications Include
\n\u25cf An understanding of the coffee industry;
\n\u25cf A passion for sustainability and the environment;
\n\u25cf 2-3 years experience in the Coffee Industry;
\n\u25cf The ability to travel nationally and internationally to visit customers and producers or attend coffee events; and
\n\u25cf Experience with CRM software.<\/p>\n
