La Marzocco Home launched in November 2014 with one goal: to help people make better espresso at home. Through online interaction and in-person classes & events, we\u2019ve had the unique opportunity to interact with a large community of home baristas as an industry leader. Throughout that time, we’ve seen the community expand and grow, fostering a new wave of interest in the art of espresso, and along with it, a growing interest in La Marzocco espresso machines for the home and business. About the job
\nThe La Marzocco Technical Support Representative will work within La Marzocco Home After Sales Team at the La Marzocco Headquarters in Seattle, WA. This person will help advance and improve the service and experience our customers receive as a customer service representative of La Marzocco. <\/p>\n
Initially, this team member will begin training as a Technical Representative for La Marzocco Home. Along with the After Sales Supervisor, they will help build an unparalleled phone, email, and live technical support solution for La Marzocco Home customers. We expect this individual to be eager to form relationships with home baristas and to embody the La Marzocco brand in their interactions. This position will report to the After Sale Supervisor.<\/p>\n
The Technical Support and Operations coordinator may be expected to travel (15% of time) to major U.S. markets and coffee events. In short, we see this staff member as someone who will help us take the next step in offering an uncompromised La Marzocco experience to the barista at home. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities include
\n\u2022 Assist in technical support to La Marzocco Home customers
\n\u2022 Exude the friendliness and knowledge of the La Marzocco Home brand, creating long term customers
\n\u2022 Assist in development, organization and maintenance of After Sales support materials such as technical documents, videos, and self-help guides
\n\u2022 Communicate for\/to La Marzocco Home concerning order status, timelines, and inventory
\n\u2022 Educate customers on proper espresso techniques – Represent La Marzocco Home at events<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\n\u2022 Customer Service experience: 3 years, preferably in coffee
\n\u2022 Ability to work with people in high stress moments and be a calm presence
\n\u2022 Technical minded with troubleshooting experience preferred\u2028- Interest in the technical aspects of espresso machines with a willingness to learn\u2028- Coffee experience preferred: Barista for a specialty coffee company and knowledge of the specialty coffee market
\n\u2022 Self-directed: Ability to develop and implement programs with minimal direction\u2028
\n\u2022 Operations Experience: Inventory Management and movement of parts within a system. <\/p>\n
